Korea Open: Shapovalov makes quarter-finals
Denis Shapovalov won against Jaume Munar 7-5, 6-4 on Wednesday night and will face the winner of the match between Radu Albot and American Steve Johnson in the next round
Canadian Denis Shapovalov, the No 4 seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Korea Open by winning against Spaniard Jaume Munar 7-5, 6-4 at the Seoul Olympic Park on Wednesday.
Shapovalov, ranked No 24, will play the winner of the match between Radu Albot and American Steve Johnson next.
In the previous round of the Seoul, Munar, ranked No 59, benefited from the abandonment of Japanese qualifier Yosuke Watanuki (2-1).
