American lucky loser Aleksandar Kovacevic reached the second round of the Korea Open by defeating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-4 at the Seoul Olympic Park on Monday.
The 2022 Korea Open starts with a massive upset.
Kovacevic, ranked No 221, will play the winner of the match between Chun-Hsin Tseng and Australian Christopher O’Connell next.
