Japanese Taro Daniel advanced to the second round of the Korea Open by beating Ecuadorian Emilio Gomez 6-4, 6-4 at the Seoul Olympic Park on Wednesday. Daniel, ranked No 92, will face Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka next.
