Japan Open: McDonald moves into second round
Mackenzie McDonald beat Kaichi Uchida 7-6 (4), 6-7 (2), 6-3 on Tuesday

American Mackenzie McDonald won against Japanese wildcard Kaichi Uchida, ranked 155, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (2), 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Japan Open at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo on Tuesday.
McDonald, ranked No 78, will play SoonWoo Kwon next.
