Japan Open: Humbert books spot in second round
The Frenchman will face the winner of the match between No 7 seed Frances Tiafoe and Brandon Nakashima in the second round

Frenchman Ugo Humbert defeated Japanese wildcard Shintaro Mochizuki 6-1, 6-2 to move into the second round of the Japan Open at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo on Wednesday.
Humbert, ranked No 18, will play the winner of the match between No 7 seed Frances Tiafoe and Brandon Nakashima next.
