Indian Wells: Ruud sets clash with Fils in third round
Casper Ruud defeated Lukas Klein 6-4, 7-6 (4) on Saturday night. He’ll play Frenchman Arthur Fils in the next round
Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 9 seed, beat Slovak qualifier Lukas Klein 6-4, 7-6 (4) to advance to the third round of the Indian Wells Masters at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Saturday night.
Ruud, ranked No 9, will play Frenchman Arthur Fils next.
In the previous round of the Indian Wells Tennis Masters, Klein, ranked No 141, won against American qualifier Nicolas Moreno De Alboran (7-6 (8), 6-4).
