Indian Wells Masters: Tiafoe moves into fourth round, faces qualifier Tabilo next
The American won against Jason Kubler 6-3, 6-2 on Sunday
American Frances Tiafoe, the No 14 seed, beat Australian Jason Kubler 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Indian Wells Masters on Sunday
The American has not dropped a set in his first two matches this week, having won against Marcos Giron 6-2, 6-2 in his first round.
Tiafoe, ranked No 16, will play Chilean qualifier Alejandro Tabilo, who defeated Australian Jordan Thompson in another third round clash on Sunday.
Earlier in the tournament, Kubler, ranked No 75, defeated Italian Lorenzo Sonego (6-4, 7-6 (4)) and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 21 seed (2-6, 7-6 (5), 3-0 ret.).
