Indian Wells Masters: Tiafoe advances to third round, meets Kubler next

No 14 seed Frances Tiafoe beat fellow American Marcos Giron 6-2, 6-2 to reach the third round of the Indian Wells Masters on Friday.

Tiafoe, ranked No 16 in the world, will face Australian Jason Kubler next.

In the previous round of the Indian Wells Tennis Masters, Giron, ranked No 73, won against wildcard Aleksandar Kovacevic (6-3, 7-5).
