Indian Wells Masters: Former top 10 player Sock books spot in second round against Cerundolo
Jack Sock won against Gregoire Barrere 6-4, 6-2 on Friday night and will face No 27 seed Francisco Cerundolo in the next round

American wildcard Jack Sock, a former world No 8, advanced to the second round of the Indian Wells Masters by defeating Frenchman Gregoire Barrere 6-4, 6-2 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Thursday.
Sock, ranked No 154 in the world and a semi-finalist at Indian Wells in 2017, will play No 27 seed Francisco Cerundolo for a spot in the third round.
