Indian Wells Masters: Paul eases into third round

No 10 seed Tommy Paul defeated wildcard Tristan Boyer 6-3, 6-1 to reach the third round of the Indian Wells Masters at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Friday evening.

Paul, ranked No 11, will play the winner of the match between Cameron Norrie and No 23 seed Jiri Lehecka next.

Boyer, ranked No 117, edged out Australian Aleksandar Vukic (4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4)) in the previous round of the Indian Wells Tennis Masters.
