Indian Wells Masters: Marozsan reaches last 16

Hungarian Fabian Marozsan won against Brazilian qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild 6-2, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Indian Wells Masters at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Sunday evening.

Marozsan, ranked No 58, will play the winner of the match between Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 31 seed, and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the second seed, next.

Earlier in the tournament, the Hungarian defeated Austrian lucky loser Jurij Rodionov (6-3, 6-2) and edged out Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 24 seed (3-6, 7-5, 6-4).

Seyboth Wild, ranked No 65, beat American J.J. Wolf (6-2, 6-1) and Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 15 seed (6-1, 7-5) in the previous rounds of the Indian Wells Tennis Masters.
