Indian Wells Masters: Mannarino upsets Musetti, gets another Italian Sinner in next round

Frenchman Adrian Mannarino upset Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 19 seed, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the third round of the Indian Wells Masters on Saturday.

The reward for Mannarino, ranked No 68, is a third round encounter with another Italian, Jannik Sinner, the No 11 seed.

The 34-year-old Frenchman edged out Austrian wildcard Dominic Thiem (4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5)) in the first round of the tournament.
