Indian Wells Masters: Davidovich Fokina books spot in third round, meets Khachanov next

Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 23 seed, won against Chinese wildcard Yibing Wu 6-4, 6-1 to reach the third round of the Indian Wells Masters on Friday.

Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 28 in the world, will play Karen Khachanov, the No 13 seed, next. The Russian defeated German Oscar Otte in another second round encounter on Friday.
