US Clay Court: Etcheverry sets Garin quarter-final clash
Tomas Martin Etcheverry won against Max Purcell 7-6 (5), 6-1 on Saturday evening and will face Chilean Cristian Garin in the next round

Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 8 seed, moved into the last eight of the US Clay Court Championships by winning against Australian Max Purcell 7-6 (5), 6-1 at River Oaks Country Club in Houston on Saturday evening.
Etcheverry, ranked No 73, will play Chilean Cristian Garin next.
The Argentinian beat Juan Manuel Cerundolo (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Houston Open.
In the previous round of the Houston Open, Purcell, ranked No 86, won against German Daniel Altmaier (6-4, 3-6, 6-3).
