Chinese Shang Juncheng beat wildcard Chak Lam Coleman Wong 7-6 (3), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Hong Kong Open at the Victoria Park Tennis Centre on Tuesday.

Shang, ranked No 50, will face Spaniard Pedro Martinez Portero, the No 7 seed, next.
