Hangzhou Open: Chinese wildcard Bu upsets Khachanov to reach quarter-finals

Chinese wildcard Bu Yunchaokete advanced to the quarter-finals of the Hangzhou Open by winning against Russian Karen Khachanov, the second seed, 7-6 (7), 4-6, 6-3 at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center on Friday afternoon.
Bu, ranked No 124, will face Mikhail Kukushkin next.
The 22-year-old Chinese beat Frenchman Hugo Gaston (7-5, 6-3) in the previous round of the Hangzhou tournament.
