Hamburg Open: Van Assche comes from set down to knock out Davidovich Fokina
Luca Van Assche edged out Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 and will play the winner of the match between No 4 seed Alexander Zverev and wildcard Maximilian Marterer in the next round

Frenchman Luca Van Assche moved into the last 8 of the Hamburg Open by edging out Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 7 seed, 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 at Am Rothenbaum.
Van Assche, ranked No 77, will face the winner of the match between No 4 seed Alexander Zverev and wildcard Maximilian Marterer next.
Ahead of his victory, the 19-year-old Frenchman beat Alexandre Muller (7-6 (3), 6-4).
Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 39, won against Argentinian Pedro Cachin (2-6, 7-5, 6-2) in the previous round of the Hamburg tournament.
