Hamburg Open: Trungelliti makes second round as Ofner retires
Marco Trungelliti benefited Sebastian Ofner’s retirement (6-1, 4-3) and will play either Fabian Marozsan or Holger Rune in the next round
Argentinian qualifier Marco Trungelliti moved into the second round of the Hamburg Open when Austrian Sebastian Ofner retired.
Trungelliti, ranked No 151, led 6-1, 4-3 when Ofner, ranked No 50, pulled out at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.
The 34-year-old Argentinian will face the winner of the match between Hungarian Fabian Marozsan and Dane Holger Rune, the second seed, next.
