Hamburg Open: Shevchenko beats Molleker to move into second round

Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko moved into the second round of the Hamburg Open by edging out German wildcard Rudolf Molleker 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 at the Rothenbaum Tennis Center on Monday.

Shevchenko, ranked No 56, will face the winner of the match between No 7 seed Luciano Darderi and Lorenzo Sonego next.
