Hamburg Open: Molcan books spot in second round, Carreño Busta next

Alex Molcan won against Marko Topo 7-5, 6-3 on Monday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 4 seed, and Italian qualifier Luca Nardi in the next round

Slovak Alex Molcan defeated German qualifier Marko Topo 7-5, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Hamburg Open at Am Rothenbaum on Monday.

Molcan, ranked No 48, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the No 4 seed, and Italian qualifier Luca Nardi next.
