Hamburg Open: Marterer books spot in second round, could face Zverev next

Wildcard Maximilian Marterer won against wildcard Rudolf Molleker 7-6 (2), 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Hamburg Open at Am Rothenbaum on Tuesday afternoon.

Marterer, ranked No 144, will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 4 seed, and Slovak Alex Molcan next.
