Hamburg Open: Djere ends Zhang run to reach final

Serb Laslo Djere beat Chinese Zhizhen Zhang 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the final of the Hamburg Open at Am Rothenbaum on Saturday afternoon.
Djere, ranked No 57, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Fils and German Alexander Zverev, the No 4 seed, next.
The Serb did not drop a point on serve in the opening set and only six in the second as he dominated the match, moving to victory in exactly one hour.

Ahead of his victory, the Serb won against Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 6 seed (7-6 (2), 6-3), Argentinian Guido Pella (6-2, 3-6, 6-3) and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 3 seed (7-5, 6-3).
Zhang, ranked No 79, won against qualifier Jan Choinski (6-4, 7-5), German Yannick Hanfmann (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) and German Daniel Altmaier (6-4, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Hamburg tournament.
