Hamburg Open: Cerundolo books spot in second round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo reached the second round of the Hamburg Open by winning against German Daniel Altmaier 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 at Am Rothenbaum on Tuesday evening.

Cerundolo, ranked No 30, will face the winner of the match between Lithuanian lucky loser Ricardas Berankis and Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed, next.
