Hamburg Open: Altmaier downs Gasquet to reach second round
The German will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles and Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed, in the next round

German Daniel Altmaier moved into the second round of the Hamburg Open by beating Frenchman Richard Gasquet 7-5, 6-4 at Am Rothenbaum on Monday.
Altmaier, ranked No 61 in the world, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles and Russian Andrey Rublev, the second seed, next.
