American Sebastian Korda beat Russian Karen Khachanov 7-5, 7-6 (5) to reach the second round of the cinch Championships at Queen’s Club in London.

Korda, ranked No 23, will play Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 3 seed, next.
