Halle: Nakashima advances to second round

American Brandon Nakashima advanced to the second round of Halle by edging out Swede Mikael Ymer 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion on Monday.

Nakashima, ranked No 54, will face the winner of the match between German lucky loser Daniel Altmaier and Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 8 seed, next.
