Halle: Rune goes down to Carreno Busta in grass court debut
Pablo Carreno Busta defeated Holger Rune in straight sets to reach the second round in Halle where he awaits the winner between Sebastian Korda and Cristian Garin

Danish teen Holger Rune did not have a successful grass court debut on the ATP Tour at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion in Halle on Monday as the 19-year-old was defeated by Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta in straight sets.
The sixth seeded Spaniard defeated Roland-Garros quarter-finalist Holger Rune 6-3, 7-6 [5] in one hour and 47 minutes.
Carreno Busta, ranked No 19 in the world, will face the winner of the match between American Sebastian Korda and Chile’s Cristian Garin next.
