Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime defeated American Mackenzie McDonald in straight sets to set up a quarter-final showdown against Poalnd’s Hubert Hurkacz at the Owl Arena/Gerry-Weber-Stadion in Halle.
Auger-Aliassime, the fourth seed, won 7-6 (7), 6-1 over American Mackenzie McDonald.
Fifth seed Hurkacz was also a winner in straight sets, beating Ugo Humbert 7-6, 6-3.
