Australian Jason Murray Kubler reached the quarter-finals of the Hall of Fame Open by edging out Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the top seed, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (4) at the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum in Newport on Thursday evening.
Kubler, ranked No 102, will face Australian James Duckworth, the No 8 seed, next. The Australian won against Jordan Thompson (6-2, 6-3) in the previous round of the Hall of Fame Open.
