Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 6 seed, beat American Christopher Eubanks 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 to reach the second round of the Geneva Open at Tennis Club de Genève, Parc des Eaux-Vives on Tuesday afternoon.
Griekspoor, ranked No 27, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Federico Coria and Canadian wildcard Denis Shapovalov next.
