Italian Flavio Cobolli moved into the second round of the Geneva Open by winning against Russian Aslan Karatsev 7-5, 6-1 at Tennis Club de Genève, Parc des Eaux-Vives on Monday afternoon.
Cobolli, ranked No 56, will face No 4 seed Ben Shelton next.
