Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas, the No 5 seed, moved into the last 8 of the Generali Open by beating Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas 6-3, 6-4 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club on Wednesday.
Ramos-Vinolas, ranked No 52, will play Spaniard Pedro Martinez, the No 7 seed, next.
Varillas, ranked No 109, won against Spaniard Carlos Taberner (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Kitzbuhel.
