Austrian wildcard Filip Misolic advanced to the semi-finals of the Generali Open by defeating Serb Dusan Lajovic 2-6, 7-6 (5), 6-3 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club on Friday.
Misolic, ranked No 205, will play German Yannick Hanfmann next.
The 20-year-old Austrian won against Brazilian lucky loser Daniel Dutra da Silva (6-2, 7-6 (6)) and Spaniard Pablo Andujar (6-4, 6-0) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Kitzbuhel, Lajovic, ranked No 80, won against Ukrainian lucky loser Vitaliy Sachko (6-4, 7-6 (5)) and Russian Aslan Karatsev, the No 4 seed (7-5, 6-3).
