Generali Open: Qualifier Andreozzi into second round, to meet top seed Etcheverry
The Argentine qualifier defeated Filip Misolic 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 in the first round of Kitzbuhel
Argentinian qualifier Guido Andreozzi advanced to the second round of the Generali Open by defeating Austrian wildcard Filip Misolic 5-7, 6-4, 6-2 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club in Kitzbuhel on Monday.
Andreozzi, ranked No 240 in the world, won his first ATP level match of the season with this win. He will play top seed Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
Misolic had advanced to the 2022 Kitzbuhel final in his ATP Tour debut as a 20-year-old wildcard ranked 205th.
