J.J. Wolf advanced to the quarter-finals of the Florence Open by defeating No 4 seed Maxime Cressy 6-3, 6-4 at the Palazzo Wanny on Wednesday afternoon.
Wolf, ranked No 75, will play the winner of the match between Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 7 seed, and Frenchman Corentin Moutet next.
J.J. Wolf won against Italian wildcard Francesco Maestrelli (4-6, 6-2, 6-1) ahead of his victory.
