American J.J. Wolf defeated Italian wildcard Francesco Maestrelli in three sets to advance to the second round of the Florence Open at the Palazzo Wanny on Monday.
J.J. Wolf came from a set down to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 in one hour and 56 minutes.
He will next meet fellow American Maxime Cressy, the fourth seed, in the second round of the ASTP 250 event.
