Florence Open: World No 126 Passaro makes second round
Francesco Passaro won against Zhizhen Zhang 7-6 (4), 7-6 (6) on Tuesday evening. He’ll play the winner of the match between Mackenzie McDonald and No 6 seed Jenson Brooksby in the next round
Italian wildcard Francesco Passaro reached the second round of the Florence Open by defeating Chinese lucky loser Zhizhen Zhang 7-6 (4), 7-6 (6) at the Palazzo Wanny on Tuesday evening.
Passaro, ranked No 126, will face the winner of the match between Mackenzie McDonald and No 6 seed Jenson Brooksby next.
