European Open: Varillas edges out Marozsan to move into second round
Varillas won against Fabian Marozsan 7-6 (7), 6-4. He’ll face the winner of the match between Benjamin Bonzi and Alexander Shevchenko in the next round

Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas, the No 8 seed, reached the second round of the European Open by winning against Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 7-6 (7), 6-4 at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.
Varillas, ranked No 69, will face the winner of the match between French qualifier Benjamin Bonzi and Russian Alexander Shevchenko next.
