Brazilian qualifier Thiago Seyboth Wild beat Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 7-6 (4), 6-3 to move into the second round of the European Open at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.
Seyboth Wild, ranked No 80, will play second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas next.
