European Open: Giron into second round
Marcos Giron defeated Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech and Belgian wildcard Alexander Blockx in the next round
American Marcos Giron, the No 8 seed, defeated Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the European Open at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on Tuesday afternoon.
Giron, ranked No 47, will face the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech and Belgian wildcard Alexander Blockx next.
