Estoril Open: Martinez advances to quarter-finals

Pedro Martinez won against Roberto Bautista Agut 7-5, 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Estoril Open at Clube de Ténis do Estoril on Thursday evening.

Martinez, ranked No 77, will play French lucky loser Richard Gasquet next.

In the previous round of the Estoril tournament, Pedro Martinez beat German Daniel Altmaier (6-4, 6-2).

Bautista Agut, ranked No 93, defeated Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 6 seed (6-1, 7-5) in the previous round of the Estoril tournament.
