Portuguese Nuno Borges advanced to the second round of the Estoril Open by beating French qualifier Lucas Pouille 0-6, 7-6 (6), 6-3 at Clube de Ténis do Estoril on Monday.
Borges, ranked No 62, will face No 3 seed Lorenzo Musetti next.
