Eastbourne Open: Purcell makes second round
Max Purcell beat Laslo Djere 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 on Monday and will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 8 seed, and Italian Lorenzo Sonego in the next round

Australian qualifier Max Purcell moved into the second round of the Eastbourne Open by winning against Serb Laslo Djere 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club.
Purcell, ranked No 94, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, the No 8 seed, and Italian Lorenzo Sonego next.
