Eastbourne Open: McDonald into last eight
Mackenzie McDonald beat Taylor Fritz 7-6 (3), 7-6 (8) on Wednesday and will face Swede Mikael Ymer in the next round

Mackenzie McDonald advanced to the last eight of the Eastbourne Open by defeating top seed Taylor Fritz 7-6 (3), 7-6 (8) at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday.
McDonald, ranked No 64, will play Swede Mikael Ymer next.
In the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament, Mackenzie McDonald won against Italian Marco Cecchinato (6-3, 6-3).
