Lucky loser Giles Hussey won against Argentinian Mariano Navone, the No 6 seed, 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Eastbourne Open at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Hussey, ranked No 359, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech and Italian Flavio Cobolli next.
