Eastbourne Open: Cressy reaches second round

American Maxime Cressy won against Colombian qualifier Daniel Elahi Galan 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the second round of the Eastbourne Open at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Cressy, ranked No 55, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Zhizhen Zhang and Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 7 seed, next.
