Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, won against American Mackenzie McDonald 2-6, 7-5, 6-2 to reach the final of the Eastbourne Open at the Devonshire Park LAwn Tennis Club on Saturday.
Cerundolo, ranked No 19, will play the winner of the match between Frenchman Gregoire Barrere and American Tommy Paul, the second seed, next.
The Argentinian defeated Swiss qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler (7-6 (2), 7-6 (5)) and Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (6-2, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Eastbourne tournament, McDonald, ranked No 64, beat Italian Marco Cecchinato (6-3, 6-3), top seed Taylor Fritz (7-6 (3), 7-6 (8)) and Swede Mikael Ymer (6-4, 3-6, 6-3).
