Dubai Open: Bublik reaches second round
Alexander Bublik edged out Tomas Machac 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5) on Monday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh in the next round

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 7 seed, reached the second round of the Dubai Open by edging out qualifier Tomas Machac 2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5) at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Monday afternoon.
Bublik, ranked No 23, will play the winner of the match between Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor and Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh next.
