Dubai Open: Medvedev topples Mpetshi Perricard to reach quarter-finals
Daniil Medvedev won against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday evening. He’ll play Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor in the next round

Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, advanced to the quarter-finals of the Dubai Open by beating Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 6-4, 6-4 at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre.
Medvedev, ranked No 6, will face Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor next.
In the previous round of the Dubai tournament, the Russian won against German Jan-Lennard Struff (6-4, 7-6 (4)).
Mpetshi Perricard, ranked No 29, won against Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (6-3, 7-6 (3)) in the previous round of the Dubai tournament.
