Jack Draper moved into the last eight of the Mexican Open by winning against Japanese lucky loser Yoshihito Nishioka 6-3, 6-0 at the Princess Mundo Imperial Resort in Acapulco on Wednesday night.
Draper, ranked No 50, will play the winner of the match between German Daniel Altmaier and Serb Miomir Kecmanovic next.
Jack Draper beat American Tommy Paul, the No 7 seed (6-0, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Acapulco tournament, Nishioka, ranked No 82, edged out Portuguese Nuno Borges (3-6, 6-2, 6-4).
